 OUR MESSAGE TO YOU

 Dear AMDAPP Community,

As we kick off a new year, there’s so much to be excited about with AMDAPP and so much to look forward to in 2026! We have many exciting initiatives ahead, starting with our annual AMDAPP Conference in Charleston, which is just around the corner February 19-22, 2026. The schedule is packed with incredible educational content, along with some fun and memorable activities, including a haunted carriage ride you won’t want to miss. Excited to see you there!

This year, we’re also launching three regional meet-ups, creating new opportunities to connect with local APPs while gaining impactful, practice-changing knowledge. Our membership numbers are growing, with over 200 AMDAPP members this year. Our CMRD certification numbers also continue to grow. It’s inspiring to see our movement disorder APP community strengthening and expanding.

We’re also thrilled to be starting a new podcast in 2026, where hosts Cheryl Kyinn, PA-C, Jenny Nguyen, CNP and Erin Zinn, CNP will dive into hot topics relevant to movement disorder APPs; and if you know these hosts, you can expect plenty of insight and entertainment along the way.

Thank you for being part of AMDAPP. Personally, AMDAPP feels like a family and I can truly say I’ve made meaningful friendships that inspire me on a daily basis. I hope to meet many more of our members and I love to see the incredible impact each of you have on our movement disorder community. My time serving on the AMDAPP Board of Directors has come to an end at the start of this year but I’ll still be around serving on the APP Executive Committee. It’s been such a joy to be even a small piece of the AMDAPP team, and we can’t wait to see what 2026 brings for all of us!

Sincerely,

Meredith Hatcher, PA-C, CMRD
