Abstract Submission Guidelines
Abstract Categories
Authors may submit abstracts under one of the following categories:
- Quality Improvement – Initiatives that improve patient outcomes, safety, efficiency, or satisfaction.
- Clinical Case Study – Unique or complex cases that illustrate critical thinking, collaboration, or best practices.
- Research – Original investigations, pilot studies, or scholarly work in progress.
- Doctoral/Capstone Projects – Summaries of academic or practice-based scholarly work.
- Educational or Interprofessional Initiatives – Teaching innovations, team-based learning, or workforce development efforts.
- Leadership or Process Improvement – Projects advancing organizational change, workflow optimization, or professional practice.
Abstract Format
Word Limit: Maximum of 300 words (excluding title and author information).
Structure:
Title - Authors and Credentials
Background/Introduction – Brief context or rationale.
Methods/Approach – Description of project design, implementation, or strategy.
Results/Outcomes – Key findings, results, or lessons learned.
Conclusions/Implications – Significance and potential impact on APP practice or patient care.
Formatting: Use clear, professional language. Avoid acronyms unless defined.
